These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using Campidu, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old to use Campidu. By using the Service, you represent that:
- 1.1 You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
- 1.2 All information you provide is accurate and up to date.
2. Description of Service Campidu is a business discovery and engagement platform that allows users to:
- 2.1 Discover and browse business listings;
- 2.2 Create accounts and interact with businesses;
- 2.3 Post, view, and engage with content (feeds, comments, reactions, Q&A’s, product and services catalogs, videos, job openings, reviews);
- 2.4 Send and receive messages;
- 2.5 Follow businesses and view activity feeds;
- 2.6 Access analytics and other tools (where applicable).
- 2.7 Create or claim listings;
- 2.8 Post updates and interact with users;
- 2.9 Access premium features (including verification and analytics).
3. Accounts You may be required to create an account to access certain features.
- 3.1 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- 3.2 You are responsible for all activities under your account;
- 3.3 You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
4. Business Listings and Verification Business listings must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable payment and regulatory requirements. 4.1 Listings
- 4.1.1 You represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to create, manage, or claim the business listing and to act on behalf of the business;
- 4.1.2 All information submitted must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. You agree not to impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your affiliation, submit false, deceptive, or fraudulent information, or list prohibited or restricted goods or services. Campidu reserves the right to review, suspend, or remove listings that violate this requirement. You are responsible for keeping your listing information accurate and up to date at all times.
- 4.2.1 Verification indicates additional review by Campidu;
- 4.2.2 It does not guarantee business quality, legality, or performance;
- 4.2.3 Verification may be revoked if information is false, misleading, or non-compliant;
- 4.2.4 Campidu reserves the right to request documentation or additional information as part of verification.
5. Fees and Payments
- 5.1 Certain features may require payment;
- 5.2 Payments are processed by third-party providers, including Paystack;
- 5.3 Campidu does not store full payment details;
- 5.4 All fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise;
- 5.5 Pricing may change at any time;
- 5.6 Payment Processing
- 5.6.1 Payments are subject to the terms and policies of the payment provider;
- 5.6.2 Campidu is not responsible for errors, delays, or failures caused by third-party processors;
- 5.6.3 Chargebacks or disputes may result in suspension of access to paid features.
- 5.7 Prohibited Transactions
- 5.7.1 You may not use Campidu to process or facilitate payments for illegal, restricted, or high-risk goods or services;
- 5.7.2 This includes activities prohibited under our Acceptable Use Policy or by our payment partners;
- 5.7.3 Campidu may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts involved in suspicious or non-compliant transactions.
6. User Content You may submit content including listings, posts, comments, messages, and media. 6.1 Ownership You retain ownership of your content. 6.2 License to Campidu By posting content, you grant Campidu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content. 6.3 Prohibited Content
- 6.3.1 False, misleading, or deceptive information;
- 6.3.2 Infringement of intellectual property rights;
- 6.3.3 Harmful, abusive, illegal, or offensive content;
- 6.3.4 Fraudulent activity, spam, or malicious links.
7. Messaging and Communication
- 7.1 Messaging must not be used for spam, fraud, harassment, or abuse;
- 7.2 Campidu may monitor communications for safety and compliance;
- 7.3 We do not guarantee delivery or response times.

- 8.1 You must not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or prohibited activities;
- 8.2 You must not engage in hacking, disruption, or system abuse;
- 8.3 You must not scrape or extract platform data without authorization;
- 8.4 You must not impersonate any person or business or misrepresent your identity;
- 8.5 You must comply with all applicable laws, policies, and payment requirements.
9. Third-Party Content and Listings Campidu does not guarantee:
- 9.1 Accuracy of listings;
- 9.2 Availability of services;
- 9.3 Quality or reliability of businesses.
10. Intellectual Property
- 10.1 All platform content belongs to Campidu or its licensors;
- 10.2 You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit the platform without permission.

12. Suspension and Termination
- 12.1 We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or our policies;
- 12.2 We may remove listings, content, or access at our discretion;
- 12.3 We may take action without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform or users.
13. Disclaimers Campidu is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or accuracy of content.
14. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Campidu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data.
15. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold Campidu harmless from claims arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
16. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Campidu means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
